Hey guys - I know that this is a support fourm for AW, but I want to know from some of you all out there. How would you rate the AW planes among all arfs out there? I own two AW Yaks and believe me that I am satisfied with both of them! I haven't owned many other arfs other than AW and was just wondering about some of you that has owed other brands, how do the Aeroworks planes compare. I really don't read much about them over on another site or for that fact here. Reason I'm asking is that I'm wanting a 100cc Extra and was just needing some advice, before you get started I'm am not wanting this to turn into a brand war please!!!! Just honest answers.

I've owned Cardens, Wild Hare, Hangar 9, Lanier, SIG, QQ, and Aeroworks, and Aeroworks would be my first pick for an ARF. If I was going to pay and have one Built, it would be a Carden. I love my 75cc Aeroworks Extra 260! Jason Noll flys Aeroworks and he could probably Fly anything he wants, says something. And another point I would like to make, Mark Dennis and Aeroworks let their Planes speak for themselfs, you really don't see them pushing their Planes. If they have something New, they'll let us know. But no hard sales, gotta have, never pushy like other ARF Manufactures, I like that too. Service for me with Aeroworks has been top-shelf, the Best.

I have built and flown alot of different Arf's over the years. My opinion is that all of the arf's have all had something not quite right , or a little clugy about putting it together. Until I tried an AW Arf. It is the first arf I have ever had that went together cleanly exactly as the manual indicates, also not a single cludge issue. I have had two AW arf's, the 90-120 YAK, and the 75cc Extra, both were QB(quick builds). The yak flys vert true straight and is a blast to fly. The extra is going to be maidened in the next few weeks and I have no doubt that it will fly every bit as good as the yak.

I have been impressed with AW arf's as well as their customer service. I feel that AW is after a satisfied customer rather than a sale. I will continue doing bussiness with AW in the future.

It is clear that I have a preference for Aeroworks, they have earned my preference, I have not mentioned the names of any other Arf mfg because I do not want to say this company is not as good as that company. There are alot of good arf's out there today. Aeroworks has made me feel that they care about my satisfaction. Alot of Arf mfg make me feel that as soon as they have my money, the deal is done.

You really can't go wrong with AW!! and that is my opinion.

I've owned the 50cc Extra, the 90-120 Yak, and now the 50cc Pitts.... They all have been great flying, well built planes. I've got some larger planes that are composite, but for wood planes, I've never been disapointed. I guess its not a Carden (I've never flown one), but they seem to be the most consistent, with good quality components, great instructions, and most important, unquestionable service after the sale.

I've got their .90-1.20 Yak. It was my first AW ARF and at this point only AW plane. I've got a couple of 1/4 scale Extras, but the AW Yak is by far my favorite airplane to fly. No question.

I agree that the AW planes speak for themselves, they really don't push them and I think a product that sells itself says something about it. I know that I have heard some say that the AW planes are a little heavy compared to others, I guess it just means that they are built better or it would seem that way. I like the way my 50cc Yak flies with the DA50, I'm not a 3D pilot so these planes when set up for my type of flying work great for me. I have the 75cc Yak/ZDZ Super 80 combo just finished and haven't maidened it yet but I'm told that for power to weight ratio it will be ballastic! Ok guy all and any comments are appreciated, keep them coming.[;)]

Hey guys- I flew my 50cc Yak last weekend and I had forgotten just how good these planes really fly. After attending the Joe Nall last Friday and looking over a lot of the other guys products I will honestly have to say that the Aeroworks are by far the best built arf that I seen. I guess I answered my own question! Not to say that there are'nt some other good ones out there but for the amount you spend and what you get in quality, and the fit of everything I just don't see anything better. IMHO
