Just thought everyone would like to take a look at the new Tamiya TB03. Looks like it's got the front setup of the TA05 IFS. Release date is June 2008 though that is probably in Japan. BTW Tamiya USA's site already lists the kit and some parts for it.

Here is a search on Tamiya USA's site for TB03
http://www.tamiyausa.com/search.php?q=tb03&image.x=0&image.y=0

It lists the kit "RC ARTA Garaiya - TB03", a front one way, aluminum diff joint set, aluminum motor mount, aluminum propeller shaft, and titanium screw set.

It should be called TB-02 IFS!!

Looks good!! Without the shock tower up front, now you can run some low hood shell!!

That's a good looking car! I will probably need to get a belt drive next, though, since I still have the TB-02 and the TC4 FT!

The body is certainly one of those things that you either love or hate.
I love it for being the most radical looking GT body that you can get for your car!
A pity that the rear lights look like stolen from a Toyota yaris.

can you say extra weight? man thats gonna be some added weight from the cantilever design. What is it trying to imitate anyways a revo? I wonder does this mean i should upgrade from my tb-02r? hmmm.

slightly more weight, but also slightly more aerodynamic.

More weight? If anything I would think it would remove weight. In exchange for the extra weight of the cantilevers you're removing the weight of the shock tower which is much larger. If there is a weight gain (due to the bearings in the cants) it's so little that you wouldn't be able to notice.

Besides that you're also moving the weight of the shocks, oil, springs, etc lower which should improve handling.

You do realize that the Revo wasn't the first to ever have inboard shocks right? F1 cars (full size and R/C) have been running this setup for a long time.

Many real life race cars run in-board shocks for packaging reasons...
