russm, you're right. I think you draw the line here; if Richard Simmons can hand start it without a glove, then it's a GIRLYMAN engine.

KMOT,
She is a 1958 1.5ccm (.09" ) Taifun Hurrikan diesel manufactured in West Germany. I have not run this one but have another which is RC and it spins up a 7x6 prop quite nicely.

150flyer, I have Skybolt arf NIB. Was going to use OS91 or 120FS,but I just got OS120AX from a friend. Would you explain set-up(muffler,any structural improvements, etc) and have wings and horizontal stab held up??Also flight report?? If not here,PM me. THANKS,RACJ

The plane is a rocket with unlimited vertical. I do violent snap rolls, blenders, tumbles and lots of hard yanking and banking. The Plane has hundreds of flights with no structural issues. There are a few other Super Skybolts at our field with the same set up. They leave the other Skybolts with lesser engines in the dust. I used a Pitts style muffler in the beginning but had trouble the the stingers developing small cracks. I finally went with the stock muffer around 50 flights ago and have had no problems.

YS 1.10S powered GP RV-4 (10 lbs). I will post some fulls pics tomorrow. I am simulating the performance of the "REAL" Harmon Rocket II (IO- 540 "400 hp RV-4). I also have a Aerworks YAK 54 powered by a YS 1.40 which is 9-3/4 lbs. This is the most up to date pic of the YAK, I was still finishing it at the time.

Videos are nice, looks like that field your landing on was plowed at one time. Should you be landing along the rows instead of across them? Looks rough

Yep, It was a flower farm.
The field just wouldn't work to run with the disk direction.
It's a 80 acre private field for my brother and I only.
We brush hogged, then york raked an area of 300' wide by 800' long.
Then took a pavement roller and rolled it for two days.
It looks rough from what was disked, but it isn't, it is actually pretty smooth.
It looks the way it does frrom being disked, the grass/weeds grew heavier in the valleys.
The video was two years ago, this is our 3rd season and the grass/weeds have filled in really nice.
The worst part of it is that the two of us have to maintain it.
We use two 42" riding mowers to cut it and it takes about 2 1/2-3 hours of both of us running to cut it.
Hopefully we will still have it for some years, since the development that was plnned is on hold.
I believe from fertalizers and pestisides.
