I got a problem with my buggy, I have had it for about a year now and I got to say that it can out perform most other buggies at the track. i went out last week for a run and the motor sounds great but its just wont excellerate. I thouhgt it was the clutch shoes and changed them. nothing! when i hold the car in the air it performs flowlessly but as soon as the wheels hit the ground it just wont go. Please help any suggestions to get me back on the track

i know this is probably a dumb question but did you check the spur gear? or how tight the drive cups? and does the engine rev up when it's on the ground? i only ask because you didn't say
