I've just recieved two HL's off ebay. A S+S M-26 (Snow Leopard) and a S+S PzIII (with metal tracks and gearboxes). Both were listed as faulty (they were returns)but they only cost me £80.

M-26 Fault - Aerial won't screw into transmitter and the left track won't work (the motor hums but the Gearbox is jamming) both easy fixes.

PzIII Fault - The turret isn't screwed on (thats it).

Don't you just love HL quality control...........

especially when it means cheap easy to fix tanks.

PS £80 is cheap in the UK, the PZII alone costs more then that.

Wozwasnt was this a private seller or a store on ebay? I have bought from Matotoys canada and their e-bay store RC Dynasty and never had a problem with any of the HL tanks from them

He's an ebay shop and sells lots of HL tanks.

These Tanks were listed as FAULTY as they had been returned. I only bought them for the shells and to scavenge any useful bits, instead after 20 mins "fixing" I've got two perfectly good brand new tanks. I was just suprised how easy they were to fix. The M-26 had a bit of plastic stuck in the gearbox and the PZIII just needs the turret ring screwing onto the turret.

Just waiting for a FAULTY PzIV and Matorro KT to turn up now

Ok understand that when it labeled faulty you know what you are getting. Like was said sometimes the fault is just a minor thing and easily fixed. To the big companies it's cheaper to sell off the defective items to jobbers than take the time to find the problem then they still can't sell it as a NEW tank. The jobbers buy them in bulk then re-sell as is and they make a buck as well
