Hi
I have had the 84" Cap for more than a year. I power it with a Evolution 58GX2. this plane has allways been very capable. Over the winter I Talked with Tom about some of the flight characteristics and we discussed the relocation of the wing To make it a shoulder wing. Well yesterday was its first Day to the field and I have to say WOW This plane Has a new life. When I relocated the wing I didnt move the wing totaly to the top of the fuse. The top of the wing is about 1" belowe the top of the fuse side. Every bad habit this plane ever had is gone and I do meen gone. Knife edge coupling is almost zero. Stalling the plane is something you have to work at it just floats in. Adding just a click of throtle holds the planes decent rate (To coin a phrase) a no hander lander. Thanks Tom for helping turn a Good plane into a awsome plane.

I knew you'd like it, the mid-Kap is a sweet flying plane.

Too bad so many people dislike Caps.

I LOVE em! Been seriously thinking of adpating my Hanger 9 Cap 33% to a mid-wing, but love it too much to try it...

I WISH I still had my WH Mid-Wing Kap, was one of the most fun airplanes I ever owned. Would LOVE it in a 33-35% version with pocket hinging LoL.

I have had some engine issues with this air frame and the plane has been remanufactured in places. So making these changes seemed like something fun to do. When I flew this plane as a cap I was far from disapointed. It was something you needed to get ussed to flying. Like a Cub isnt a plane for everyone especialy a full winged cub. You have to admit if you arnt ready for a cub ground handling may be something of a challenge. The cap is the same way its low speed handling can be something of a chalange on landings if you are unfamilure.

hmmm I found my WH Kap to be one of the easiest birds to handle at slow speeds, matter of fact it was the 2nd easiest behind my H9 Cap 232 33% that will fly around at idle complete rock solid.

I think bluemagic is referring to the Cap before the change to mid-wing configuration.

I converted my cap to a mid wing cap and It is the best 50cc 3d ship I own. It will harrier so well I have several harrier landings under my belt now. I think Tom should make it a production plane. It is definately a Winner.

Try a Giles, It has a similar wing stab placement to a cap, I plan to get one when I stuff one of my current planes.

Actually I have Giles wings for my 35% Edge, making it a mid wing Giles. It looks like a huge pattern plane.

It's about as stable as a plane can get, lands almost hands off and still 3d's quite well. I'm thinking about setting the wings up with 2 piece ailerons so the inner panels can be used as flaps. This thing would be the greatest utility plane ever.

I was at the field yesterday with the vertion 2 Edge the Cap-Edge and one of the first Hondas. And i got to fly all 3 this was an eye opener. At home I have 2 Ultimate biplanes. I seem to abuse them the most so I keep the last victom hanging in the garage for parts. I came to the conclution that the Ultimate is loosing its top 3-D dog position. I loved the way the Ultimate 3-D's. I have about 5 flights on the Cap-Edge and Ive harrier Landed this thing about 7 times all without touching the big 24" prop I have on the evolution. I am considering putting a cross wire spring loaded susspention on the gear. Cuz i know this thing will get abused. Now I need to get back to the shop the Ultimate needs some TLC before it goes out to the testing grounds to reclaim is superiority in 3-D
