Well I got my parts from Eddie today!!!!, Ran into one problem so far, I was putting on thee shock towers and well... they don't fit... I had to save off some plastic to it sits on the grove correctly..Works fine.. Then I went to slide the pin thru the arms into the shock towers ( this is the front setup btw ) And the pin is to short? Any help?

I also Got My T-Maxx shocks today, And I got the bottom parts mounted but now Its the top part?? How did some of You do it?.. But If I get the upgraded shock towers on, I know I will have to get longer screws.

honestly bro, i never used the upgraded shock towers so i dont know what to say but i have never heard of anyone having a problem.

Pictures could help in a diognosis of the problem.

you have to order longer pins. ill see if i can find the part number i used. i think the pin is "2036 front lower suspension pin ". i hope that helps bro. and the pics are how i mounted my shocks on the thicker towers.

Well, I found a solution, My old electric is now a parts car...LOL... Got a question for ya Donny, Do you have alot of travel in the shocks?

I'll have to get pics soon

DonnyNitro -> RE: Need some help guys! (5/10/2008 2:50:42 AM)

the plate of my car sits about 1-7/16 off the ground and has full travel. i might have more height cause just got new tires proline II dirt hawgs on the rear and III on the front (i think). and the other front view of my car. notice the modifyed volcano rear bumper on the front. works well.

zeen420 -> RE: Need some help guys! (5/10/2008 2:51:30 AM)

You got as much travel in the front, But how about at the rears?

DonnyNitro -> RE: Need some help guys! (5/10/2008 2:54:04 AM)

about the same. the car sits pretty level.

Zeen Bro.....

Those TMAX Shocks are 3/4 inch Longer than the STOCKIES......They also have MUCH stiffer Springs.

That is gonna be the STIFFEST buggy Suspension in the World...[:D]

May be good for Jumping though.......

LOL oh ya.. I noticed that right away, But these stock T-max Springs are pretty soft, So I don't think I will run into any problems. But Holy crap, That buggy has one mean looking stance on it, Sits as high as it can go. Lots of clearence.

DonnyNitro -> RE: Need some help guys! (5/11/2008 2:08:22 AM)

shocks will be great for off road but i dont know about onroad. i put new proline dirt hawgs front and rear on my buggy and i am constantly flipping it on tight and wide high speed turns. lol. I didnt realize that when the car is skidding on its roof that the cooling head will spark when it is grinding on the pavement.lol

LOL!!, ya.. that will leave some nice bare aluminum, Have to do the fuel tube and zip ties for protection,

I also found with the T-maxx shocks and these new tires, Fast tight turns are impossible but it rides very smooth and jumps really nice.. I got a vid up in and post.
