Hi, I am new to the RC sport so i don't know much but i think you guys can help me. I got my truggy out for the first time in about 5 months. I ran 1 tank of fuel throughit. I checked the temp and it was 250 degrees. About 30 seconds later my engine went out of control (it went full speed and i had no brakes). it crashed in the ditch. i shut it off and checked the temp and it was about 450 degrees. my engine is the mac .28 on the hyper st. I was wondering if the engine blew up. Tanks in advance.

Get rid of that engine, it'll be the best thing you ever did.

For some reason Ofna dosent like to give out an engine that works.

Try this link, it should help you.

Fabulous engine, I got one coming. Ive been running the Picco .28, which is basically a Jammin .28 with a differient head. Love that engine.

You'll need a starter box tho. Otherwise, great engine.

What may have happened is a lack of fuel to the engine. It will run excessively lean and cause a temperature like you mentioned. Check your fuel lines for damage from heat or friction or the like.
