I'm ready to maiden my new Mistral 2600e from Reichart Models (http://www.EspritModels.com).

Instructions are 2 text sheets with no mention of this and the hardware, etc.

I am not sure how to mount the canopy/hatch part and keep it secured so it doesn't blow off while I'm flying...please help - and show me pictures of how you held down your removable canopy.

Status: offline 		I have used Rare Earth Magnets with grear success. A dowel pin up front and magnets at the back.

Status: online 		Same here. I used a couple of neodyum magnets from a burned out brushless motor on the cabin of my spirit.

Status: offline 		If your wing is banded on: I use a pin for the front of the canopy and a single rubber band from one front dowel, across the rear of the canopy, to the other front dowel.

Especially because the magnets would be very close to my receiver and I don't know if I'm comfortable with that.

Status: offline 		I have two small screws on mine, one half way up the hatch and one at the rear with a pin in the front. Do you want a pic?

BTW I saw you are using 1 3S, why? Yuo'll have to add weight so why not put in two zippy 2000 3S? What motor and prop? I have a AXI 2826-12 and 13X7 it flys for a long time especially if you are on a calm day with thermals.
