I know Karen at the tank museum can help with some of my questions, but I know some of you have the answers to the others!

Ok I am making a conversion that is all I can say,, but I may need a Tamiya Gearbox for the Pershing, plus the side gears that go in the housing, which allow the sprocket to set back? can you buy those ( Offset Gears pictured below ) or do they only come with the Tamiya Pershing kit??

Also how do you guys who have installed the DMD into Heng Longs interface with the turret wiring, do you have a picture or Tamiya skimatic??

Thanks for any help on this

Visit here for HL to Tamiya DMD conversation ideas: http://web.mac.com/ksoc/Special_Projects/Steve_Panzer_III.html#3

The HL turret rotation motor and the main gun elevation motor will plug right into the DMD Unit with a change to the the Tamiya DMD plug fitting and then operate as they should.

The airsoft unit is deleted. Email me off line for help in finding the 2 hard to get plugs that you will need for the conversion.

Check your manual for the parts no, you should be able to order from Tamiya.

Blitz,

If you need some additional Pershing info such as parts lists (to facilitate a Tamiya order), PM me, otherwise I hope to see you at DAK's battlday on May 31.

Thanks Jeff,

As of this week, I think I may not need thsoe parts after all, but it is good to know who to get some info from!

I am fully planning on being at the Night fight in the Desert! It will be my first NIGHT battle and first battle with my KT!

I look forward to seeing you and Amee, maybe she with her Tiger and you and I with our KT's can get on the same team for at least one battle!

Blitz,

Time to get those headlights operational! You'll need them. Your KT looks really good. I'll be happy to see it in the dirt.

As to the battleday, it sounds as if there should be some new battlefield props and scenarios. Should be a challenge to all.

You can get the gears, shaft, bearings or housing from Tamiya or Karen at AAF. I have done both.

Here are the parts:
Final gears 18T and 46T #9805849 (x2 packs)
Gearcase front and back #9805852 (x2 packs)
Large ball bearings 1280 #53066 (x2 packs)
Shaft bag #9415890 (x1 pack)
Small ball bearing 850 (x1 pack)
