Hi there sorry for the nOOB question, but

I have a Thunder Power 910mA 2-cell (for my Blade CX2 - its supposed to be a good hop-up) and its connector is just like my TP1320 which are 3-cell.

I tried the Common Sense adapter that says its good for Thunder Power 3-cell and 2-cell but I get an error connecting to a 3-Cell charger.

I'm confused because the connector says 3-cell but its a 2-cell pack, and the charger is expecting a 3-cell on that kind of connector.

What is the trick?

Thanks in advance for the quick fix!

How are the pins setup on your 2cell pack?

You mean you don't know?

Its a Thunder Power 910mAh 2-cell pack. Yes it has a connector just like a 3-cell pack. But, I cannot charge it through the Common Sense Thunder-Power adapter. I get a Charge Error or nothing at all on two different chargers.

What is the trick? Do I need to swap wires on the adapter?

Yes, you need to insure that the wires in the adapter are actually "connecting" to the connector..

Also, you need to insure the polarity of the pack, before you start swapping wires..

Well then, I guess I have to break out the voltmeter and needle probes and engineer my own custom adapter.

I guess I am the first one to ever need to do this?

I'll figure it out, but I am surprised there is no picture, no drawing, no clue that this has ever been done before... As if the TP910 pack is brand new tech...

I shall boldly go where none have gone before...

There is no need to engineer your own custom adapter.. However, there is a need to break out the voltmeter, to ensure proper polarity..

Before we do that.. Let me get some answers from you..

It would be a great help if you could tell me what charger you are using..

Also, I am trying to determine which product you have purchased..

These are our 2 items that are for "2 and 3" cell packs..

Did you buy this:

http://www.commonsenserc.com/product_info.php?products_id=268

or this:

http://www.commonsenserc.com/product_info.php?products_id=293

If you bought the first item, I believe you purchased the wrong item.. This is for using Thunder Power packs with our V2 products.. I do not know what charger you purchased..
If you bought the second item, this item is meant to be spliced onto a current pack and used with Thunder Power chargers/balancers..

Thanks

Jeff
