Status: offline 		We had our annual Warbird Meet today here in Evansville IN and because of the bad weather we've been having and the price of gas it wasn't a hugh turn out but there were a lot of nice planes to look at. Winds were gusting up to 30mph at times but some flight were made and all went well. Here are a few pics.

Status: online 		I attended/ participated in a couple of your warbird events a few years ago, back when they were held in early July. I like the timing of them now (probably not nearly as hot as it is in July), sorry I missed this one, but will try to make plans for being there next year (IF it is in May again).

Sure would have liked to do a little formation flying with that Top Flite red box Corsair that you have pictured. That is one of the very few red box Corsairs that I have seen done right (with proper paint scheme).

Thanks for the comments on the Corsair! That means a lot coming form you. Met you a couple years ago in Henderson when this plane was still in the works. Its not a red box though, just a standard TP kit, one of the newer ones. We had the paint matched from a diecast model, and sprayed by a local member Pat Moss. Hope you make it down next year, would love to do some formation flying, I know its your dream to have a bunch of them going at once. Plan on the same weekend, mothers day.

Some may ask about the big stick plane being a warbird. That is actually a old military drone plane 100% scale!

With the wind gusting up to 35mph I don't think you would find anyone at the field today. I guess we were lucky that we had a fairly decent day yesterday.

I have been wanting to join your club, and figured this would be a good opportunity to check things out, ask questions etc. I suppose I'll just send an e-mail to your membership chairman...
