ok i sound like a newb but what is that?

snowbl!nd -> RE: another 4-tec question (5/11/2008 7:16:28 PM)

OWB = One way bearing.

It's hard to understand your first post, are you saying that after a few seconds the EZ-start itself will stop, or that it'll keep spinning but the engine won't turn over?

kevindouglas3 -> RE: another 4-tec question (5/11/2008 7:28:01 PM)

sorry i was just pissed but the motor wants to crank but the ez start just stops? but if i let it sit the ez start will crank again and then stop again?

snowbl!nd -> RE: another 4-tec question (5/11/2008 7:59:54 PM)

Sounds as if the engine is flooding and the EZ-start doesn't have the power to turn it over.

kevindouglas3 -> RE: another 4-tec question (5/11/2008 9:06:06 PM)

put it doesn't have any fuel until the ez start pumps it but by the time it gets there the motor doesn't want to turn so i think it is the ez start motor.

If it's a new engine it will do this because of the high compression and pinch. Heat the engine up with hair dryer or heatgun first, get it good and hot, then it should work much better. Also if you have cheap battery in ez start, it may not have enough power to do the job. Try heating it first before starting during breakin tanks and it will get lots better. Good luck!
