I have a 1200ma li-po I bought last year with a Walkera 22A. It was left without charging or anything for quite a few months (I know, bad me), I just got an Axe CP (which is WORLDS better than the Walkera!!!!) and now I want to use the li-po in it as the stock batteries are woefully weak. So I hooked it up to my balancer/charger thing just now and noticed on the LCD panel, only 2 cells showed up as charging. The third didn't respond, like it was a 2 cell pack. I went ahead and let it charge. The other two cells seemed to charge fine but I never saw any data displayed for #3. I now have a little under 10 volts showing with no load. Is there anything I can do for this pack, or is it toast?

On a semi-related note, I just put in 2 quick "flights" on the Axe in my living room, and actually had a decent hover going several times on the second flight.....annnnd now I am HOOKED! Can't wait to get it outside or somewhere else where I have room to move around!

If the low-cell dropped below 2.7v than it could be toast. You could check that cell's voltage thru the balance charging port using a voltmeter, if its less than 2.5v I'd consider it gone.

OK, just checked it and it's showing about 4.5 volts. Wonder why my charger wouldn't even recognize it? Another odd thing is the pack is only reading like 8.2 on the good cells, so about the same when I check the power connector that plugs into the heli. Hmmm......perhaps my charger is bad, or maybe the connection was just not quite right. Thanks for the numbers.....I think I'll mess with this thing tomorrow and see if I can make it work again. Would sure be nice to have a li-po in the Axe without having to put in more $$$ right away.

WHOA, ok, this battery is done. Thinking I might have a bad charger, I plugged in the charger that the battery came with. The light went solid red for a while, then would occasionally switch between red and green like it used to do (trickle charge?). But.....just now I peaked in and noticed the battery is significantly larger than it was before........!!!!!!!!! I got it off the charger pronto! Just hope it doesn't leak or explode here.....anyway, I think it's safe to say this battery is toast.
