im running a XXX-S with xcelorin 7500 and 11.1v 3cell lipo, should i remove windshield of body to allow more airflow and help prevent getting hot or am i just being silly?

then esc that came with xcelorin has heatsink and fan, this is my first brushless with lipo so i wasnt sure if i had to go the extra mile

Proper gearing is always a must to keep the temps down.

i was advised from horizon to get a 16t pinion, they said stock is 20t but when i pulled it off during install old one said 22T on outside of it. :/

you definitely need to run a SMALL pinion because you mention using a 3S lipo and 7500Kv motor which is 80,000 rpm capable. Not sure of the gearing but you may need less than a 16t pinion unless your doing speed runs and letting it cool off after a few runs.

was advised from LHS and horizon that its a good idea to go 4-6 teeth less than stock, since stock motor was novak 4500, i went from 22t to 16, so i went a little more.
