Hi, does anyone know just what these things do or what they are used for? Everytime I go to an Esky dealers page they show this servo tester yet none of them really tell you what it does! Thanks. Oh, the reason I'm asking is cause I don't know if it's something I should have in my tool box or not.

Well its just what it says it is. Plug in a battery and plug the servo into it. It has a potentiometer on it and when you move it the servo moves. It is useful for checking servos and centering servos when you install them. Keeps you from having to hook up the speed control and reciever and then turning on the Xmitter.

So I can actually center the servos? Besides not where they want to center themselves? Great! I think I'll get one then. Thanks. S

It's not going to "re-program" the servo to a new center point. If only it were that easy. It just saves you the trouble of hooking up all your radio gear to set up the servos.

You're still going to have to re-position the servo arm as close to 90ยบ as possible, then fix the rest with TX sub-trim (if you have it).
