Lots of guys go with the LST shock conversion but I went with the Cen GST shocks. They are set up perfect. It lowers the truck and handles awsome. I got all 8 from ebay for less than $40 shipped. They are alot bigger thatn the stock ones but shorter. The truck handles awsome with this setup. No mor rolling over on turns.

two...you might want to try hosting them on photobucket. Pictures are automatically resized and it's a LOT easier than uploading.

Like said above the tubing is for protection. Even though I have the roll bar its just one of those just in case things.

As for the short antenna I have it short for bashing. I have had antennas get sheared off because it lands in its top and and breaks teh wire. I have plenty of range and all the rest of the wire is coiled up inside the battery box so I dont lose reception. Thats why a short antenna.

two, how did you mount the lower parts of your shocks? Mine don't fit between the mounting points...

I had to shave the end of the ball that stuck out or you can buy new ball mounts. I just used a grinder to make the one side look like the other.

I lose a little but where I bash and race I dont need the full length. If you have an FM radio you dont lose much at all. You can run them real short. I also have a failsafe so if it does lose range it will stop.

if you have a spectrum you can run it real short mine only sticks up about a half inch out of the radio bos lid and i get better range then the stock radio with the full antenna.
