I've got a nikko 1:12 scale car and i really have no idea what model it is. Anyways, there are pictures attached. What i want to know is how i can make it better for drifting. It uses rubber tires but i wrapped the rear tires 2 times with electrical tape and the front 6 times. I usually use it for street drifting. I've moved the motor from where it used to be to it's current position, so right now it's about 53-47 balance. I know, RWD can't drift but... IT CAN! It just takes time, so not arguing about AWD/4wd is better than 2WD. I just want to stick to this car.

*The picture of an empty area is where the old battery used to be. I just cut a hole near the motor and fed it through the hole and to the top.

*If you need more pics....just say what pic you need and i'll attatch.

Looks like one of those 2fast nikkos cars.

And im going to say it lol rwd cant drift m8 sorry it will powerslide but it isnt drifting try a AWD and tell me im wrong the movement on a rwd is completey different to an AWD.
Ive been drifting for a good while now and seen many people claim there rwd can drift and when shown it is only powersliding as there is no power produced from the front wheels its powersliding drifting is 4 wheels powered at once sliding at angles which is impossible to do with a rwd,and thats the difference

Well, it'd probably help if you could move the battery as close to the center as possible. Less weight on the front should allow it to slide easier.

There's a reason i moved the battery...there was no weight in the front what so ever. I mean, it would fishtail almost immediately. So it's about 50-50 in the pictures anyway.

Be interested to see the video m8
Like i said tho drifting rwd is near impossible infact the only times ive seen it done where from either a nitro motor or BL setup as the amount of power seems to keep the chassis going during a drift,i just cant see the nikko having the power to keep that car sideways sliding maybe powersliding while losing traction from front wheels etc but not proper drift.

On that video if you can tape the car going sideways at an angle for a while and i will be impressed indeed I dont know you could be a drift guru and be proved wrong but i just cant see it myself

End of the day as long as your having fun with the car thats all thats matters as thats what drifting is all about...

Dude, it's not about speed anymore.

It's about control...
