Status: offline 		Yesterday when I had my bead-lock trouble my friend was taking video shots. He posted them up on You-Tube so have a look. Its the best way to see me (my Baja B5 SS) in action plus you can see how great my local bashing spot is. There's eve a built in driver's stand, that pile of dirt I'm standing on, only enough room for one on the dirt pile. Notice all the red dust it kicks up. Well it wasn't as much as usual because it had rained in the morning so the dampness kept the dust from blowing all over the place. Well, thanks for looking and I hope you like it. And no music in the video, just engine noise. The REAL music!

Yu definately want some intake guard pre-filters in that dusty clay will gum up and trash the engine fast and cause it to varnish solid.

also the rear shocks look very soft. definately want some thicker oil or beefier springs, it wont bobble so much while driving.

I would have thought that softer springs in the rear would be better, for less bounce and more bite. When I drive the Baja really hard and get the right rythm down it really hooks up. It seems like the faster I drive it, the more planted it gets. But of course you have to know when to go slow to go fast. There's this little rut where you saw the rear end bounce up, when I time it right getting off and then back on the gas I go over it without bouncing it. And then when I go up that slope I go accross small ruts (like a washboard surface). I used to hit the brakes before going up it and then it would be bouncy going over them as I turned right. If I get off the throttle right before the slope without hitting the brakes and then just drive it around I go faster and don't bounce. And the section where I drive it around where I'm standing can work like a big sweeper and I get great power slides through it.

Also after I finish running (just one tank is plenty, about 40 min.) I blow the car off with compressed air and thouroughly clean and re-oil the air filter. That run wasn't 1/2 as dusty and when its completely dry. Usually when I cross the X in the figure 8 I run I go through its dust coud.
