Hello Everybody,
I got my HBFP and I am going to break in the main motor using the double AA batteries. Is there a similar process to break in the tail motor?

Thanks.

not really, but these motors are cheap enought that I wouldn't worry about it, I've never broke in a motor (main or tail) for these and have never blown a main motor, and I've got a few with some hella long flight times tai. motors can last 70 flights or 7, they're just too small to have long life spans

The process is similar for the tail. If you have a few, you could put a couple in parallel to break them in. Or try a single AA (but it will probably run for a long time!)

Well, the reason why I want to break them in is to extend battery life time, to get the 10+ min flight times.

get a lipo then, breaking them in won't give you longer flight times, not on these heli's, and if it did it wouldn't be much or worth the effort, but I've been using the 11.1v LiPo from my HBK II, getting around 13min hard flight, but you can't actually run that long, you need to let the motors cool down, they can get hot enough to melt the canopy, I speak from experience
