flyby50 -> Old Coverite Jeep airplane.... (5/11/2008 8:42:04 PM)

Hello, don't know if this is the right forum but i bought an old Jeep, with a ST .45 on it, it looks fast and i'm just average on flying, i would like to know if this plane has any bad habits, i sure would like to know how it flies before i give it a shot, thanks for any help.... Kit built from Coverite...

It's a sport scale model of real 1930's racer, not a pylon race model by any means.

Coverite had I think two Gee Bee's and the Jeep in that same series. They're short coupled, relatively high wing loading and not very forgiving. All built up into nice looking models and they were kinda popular in the 80's...but are not one bit forgiving. I've seen them snap on takeoff and landing and just in high speed turns, I am sorry to be negative but be ready on the sticks and be sure your CG is correct. They do not tolerate a rear CG and/or excessive control throws.
