Ok so i have a sportwerks chaos with pvc drift tires and I can run it fine but the acceleration sucks due to the bearly any grip on the tires so should i wrap some tape or what..?

For drifting I just wrap one wrap of electric tape on ols set of rubber tires. They get enough bite so I can still accelerate ok and still go relatively fast, but slippery enough to easily overpower them and drift at any speed. It might work on pvc for more grip, but I think cheapo rubber tires with tape would be better, but my drift skills are not that great so take it for what it's worth .

use that or hpi t drifts, drift compound tires or abs tires, we sell em were i work (hobby superstore) bt they last way longer and perform better then tape

Pvc tires are for experienced drifters. It will be easier with the HPI drift tires.

You can use rough sandpaper to rub down to add a bit more traction on PVC wheels but it wont add much m8 there not made for speed better off swopping to rubber for speed runs etc
If you mean a bit more speed for drifting ive found you need perfectly flat surfaces to drift fast on PVCs any bumps and the pvc lose any traction it has...
