Hi, I have a STS 21b and it doesnt have enough low-end power as top-end power. I have tried tuning every kind of way and It's my pipe. I want a new pipe and i want the jammin pipes but i dont know what one. I know the JP-1 is for low to mid and JP-2 is mid to high and 3 and 4 are well-rounded. I have heard the JP-2 is the way to go for me? I have heard they have as much low-end as JP-1 and has a little more top end? Is that true? I dont want the 3 or 4 because of price (I'm getting one used on Ebay).
so please tell me which one to get im in a hurry so please help!!!!

thanks

I personally would use my JP-1 on a small/tight/technical track with a 14t CB. What is your longest straight run on the track? You could drop to a 13t CB. I am running Go .21 R-spec 3-port race modded in my X1 CR with a JP-3 and a 13t cb for a med track w/tight lanes.

Get a 12T CB that should help out alot!

I'm running a 13T CB and my track is tight (40' x 85') Its got alot of tight stuff (like in and out of corners with a 20-30 foot run) with a 85' straight away.

12T and 1.1 springs should help out alot.

You got a picture or video?

im sure they recomend the sts pipes for there motors..... chuck a 13T clutch bell alloy shoes and 1.1 springs on it.... that will give ya some bottom end poke if the clutch is to "snappy" with that set up put one carbon shoe with a 1.0 spring in there to smooth it out a lill

a .21B is a pretty weak motor, and IMHO is not enough motor for a Truggy....it works somewhat in a 8T but even then its one of the weakest mills on the track.....The dyno results of the .21B were also pretty poor.... IMHO I would buy a stronger engine, no amount of pipe and clutch setup is going to make that motor seem strong...

i've heard STS had a funky timing on them, and a select few pipes really open them up, sorry I don't have the info. But I know some one here on RCU does,

Mine is not hard to tune at all, actually its one of the easiest engines to tune I that I've owned (beside my mach 427)

i love the engine thats not the problem. It is asimple engine to tune. Supertib... im sorry but i might have to say myself that u are completely wrong. My sts can keep up with the v spec at my track. It is insane. It blows your little piccos away. sorry ( the mach 427 and 28 can keep up with it. one of the best engines out there.

heres a modded .21B vs a modded V-Spec....... as you can see the .21B has no issue keeping up
