Hi there,
I bought a new 1:16 scale nitro powered 4WD off-road truck, but on my first run the car suddenly stopped moving, I mean the engine is still running good but the car is not moving, please advice as I'm new in this great hobby.

What truck do you have? There could be a number of things that could cause that to happen.

Did you turn on the transmitter? Does the receiver have a battery pack? Does the receiver need to bind? Sorry those are basic questions but I thought I'd cover the obvious things since I don't know how much experience you have.

And yes...what truck DO you own? Details...

(I'm guessing a Trinity because there aren't too many 1/16 nitros out there).

Oh nevermind I just saw that your truck was running ok then died.

I bought the truck from Rc-fever, it's called Speed 94286, image is attached, anyways the transmiter is working fine and all servos are working fine including the throttle servo and the engine is running but the car is not moving.

it looks like a car from red cat racing. they are a section in this website just for help.

but check your transmission gears and see if any are stripped

also check to make shure the clutchbell teeth are touching the spur gear teeth and meshed properly, also roll the car, it SHOULD roll very easily on the ground, if not, then find any source of binding, maybe a brake pad is "stuck" or stuff like that

You say that the throttle servo works... do the revs increase when you give it gas? also, watch the throttle train next time and see if there is anything not moving when it should be.
and make sure that the carby (where the airfilter joins onto) is opening and shutting when the servo moves.
