Status: offline 		A month or two ago I made a small batch of self-contained 2.4GHz spectrum analyzers which were quickly snapped up.

These are a small 2-part device (SA/logger and display/interface) which provide a realtime display of activity on the 2.4GHz spectrum and will also record that data to a log (for later replay). The SA/logger part can be placed in a model and flown to a typical operating altitude, the data it records then played back (by plugging into the display/interface) upon landing.

Using this device you can keep a close eye on the level of 2.4GHz activity at your field or flying site and even rewind the data in the event of an unexplained lockout or crash to see if there was any interference at that exact time.

This is not a commercial venture, I'm merely covering my costs with these units and the price will depend on the number of people/clubs that are interested.

For more information you can check this page and register your interest. This will allow me to work out how many I make and thus what the price will be (there are good break-points on volume-purchases of the components so the more I buy the cheaper things become).

Status: offline 		Good Idea. I think you will find the spectrum is not teeming with RF noise.
BTW in your specifications you list the receiver sensitivity as -95db. A db is a unit of attenuation or gain. Its not an absolute value. Without giving the reference level the specification is meaningless.
