Status: offline 		I have a borrowed DX-7 and a couple AR7000 RX's from a buddy. I like it so far. I want more channels though and the 9ch Spektrum is too much $$$ for me right now.

I'm thinking about buying a module for my JR8103 and converting it to 2.4ghz. I realize the wire hanging out the back is an issue for some guys. It kinda bugs me too, but it is what it is.

Are you happy with the module conversions so far? What radio did you convert? Any issues?

Status: offline 		I converted my 9303 to 2.4 using the Module, last year. I have had no problems and I am gradually acquiring more 2.4 receivers. The wire coming off the module is not a problem. I have two 9303's so I use one with my synthisizer module (72Mhz) and the other with the 2.4 module.

It is very convenient and Model Match does not mean enough to me to buy the X9393 2.4. Perhaps the 12 channel in the future.

Status: offline 		I just added the module to my 8103 and (so far) am pleased with the results.
I haven't used it for more than hovering my electric heli in the driveway, so I haven't really field tested it yet.
But given that I now have 6 Spektrum receivers for my planes, I'm kind of committed...

Status: offline 		I bought a module for my 9303 and it works great. The wire out the back is really a non-issue.

Status: offline 		I just watched an ASSN module in a Futaba 9c. It worked fine. The TX module costs $70 and the receiver is $25 at ****
OOPs the price is higher. $90 & $32.

Status: offline 		I converted my 9303 with the module..to 2.4...I did convert it to run the line inside..it looks like a regular 9303/2.4
The conversion is featured in one of the threads

Status: offline 		I have a 9303 with a 2.4 module and can not tell the difference from a x9303.. A buddy of mine has a Yak 54 just like mine and with the same motor, we have flown both planes, his with a x9303 and mine with the module and we cannot tell a difference flying with a x9303 or with my 9303 with the module. So go for it.

Status: offline 		I have a 2.4 module in a JR/Graupner MX22

I am very pleased with the outcome, however I did have an issue with the Battery Charge Display on the Tx

It showed a current drop of 1.2 V in certain stick positions. Luckily it is only the display that is faulty as the current stays constant even though the display shows otherwise (I had it checked) BUT it had me worried for a while!

I must add that this condition is directly linked to the 2.4 module as the display is normal if the standard (original) module is used

Status: offline 		I just got a 9303 2.4, set up a cermark f16 using a 7 channel and a f15 ducted fan using a 7 channel. its an awsome setup compared to my old 8103. I like that fact that if the model number is wrong it wont connect to the receiver turned on.

and a 9303 for a buddy.

All function well. I did add a 1/4" square of self adhesive soft Velcro to one side of the module to stop them moving. Otherwise they are all doing their job.

I did the exact same thing to my 8103 conversion. I just didn't have enough faith in the latch that it would not eventually allow the module to fall out - but the velcro filler addressed all fears!.

Status: offline 		I recently converted my 10X and 8103 with the module, so far so good, Ive only put it into a .91 glow bird, and a zenoah gas powered Helicopter, and another into a flight metaled glow powered T6... I need to trust it before putting it into 150cc and jet birds. But so far I like it, not having to worry about a freq pin, being shot down, simplicity. yay! I am however not the biggest fan of the extra receivers yet, but oh well.

Just a note, having some issues in the T6 with the JR921... fussy little receivers to get right..
