mnrcaerobat -> Heli Car Fuel Question (5/12/2008 4:16:00 AM)

I have been running 30% 23 % oil Curtis Youngblood Heli Fuel in my Raptor. Is there any reason I should not run a some Trinity Nitro Power 30% through it. It was left here and I want to get rid of it.

jetpack -> RE: Heli Car Fuel Question (5/12/2008 7:18:24 AM)

I would not run it unless you can find out how "low" the low oil content is that Trinity is bragging about, and bring it up to at least 20% total with added oil. Car fuel has the lowest percent of oil found in our r/c fuels. Other than that aspect there's no reason you can't run it.

I agree with jetpack, it all boils down to the oil content. You need at least 20% and I prefer to run fuels with 22% in my raptor just for a safety margin in case of a lean run.

I think I will just add in small amounts at a time until it is gone.

That's definitely one way to get rid of it. Have a great day and happy flying.
