Hello, everyone!

I am thinking to have an E-Savage or E-Maxx. Which one is better?

Because of the voltage, E-Maxx seems to be faster. But my biggiest concern is reliability without any mechanical problmes.

Is E-Maxx as reliable as E-Savage? And how much faster than E-Savage? Which one do you recommend?

Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Well which one does your LHS stock the parts for?

The E-Maxx shares alot of parts with the T-Maxx, where as the E-Savage doesn't share any parts with the Savage.

The E-Maxx is more of an 1/8 truck while the E-Savage is more 1/10...............

Both trucks are fst and reliable. The 16.8 E-Maxx has waterproof electronics while the E-Savage doesn't.

If I was going with electric, I would go with the maxx, my LHS stocks lots of traxxas parts. It comes waterproof too, so that's pretty cool. I think the e maxx is setup for going brushless much easier than the E savage.

yeah i'ld have to go with e maxx unless you're really straped for $$$, then the e savy cuz you get batts and a juicer to go with for the same $, but if you can spend about 500 with a daul charger i recomend the MRC 977 can do i think up to 12 cell nimh, and 3 lithium, and two for 100 i'm getting one soon check out all-battery.com for batteries, they got some good ones for cheep,

Thank you for your answers. Well, I guess I should have an E-Maxx, then.

Once again, thank you for your advice.

The Emaxx all the way, especially the latest model. Traxxas has this truck figured out and dialed in and just about any hobby shop will have parts for it. Aftermarket hop ups are readily available as well. HPI meant well with the Esavage, but it just didn't take off. If you can wait a little longer, get the Erevo. It's going to be killer.
