does anyone know which fuel line holds up best in tanks?
the black line that came with my Hayes Tank grew about 3/16 in 60 days
or is this just the nature of all fuel lines

Hmm, I've wondered about that black tubing but assumed it was silicone. The Hayes tanks have worked well for me. Sounds like you got a tank with a bad batch of tubing. Any silicone tubing that your hobby store stocks should work.

Hi Andy,

The black tubing supplied with the Hayes tanks is neoprene. In theory it should work, but in the past we once experienced the same phenomenon as you. Now we use regular medium fuel tubing and haven't had a problem after years of using it.
