I might be getting an xl 5 stampede this summer and it comes with a venom 6 cell 3000mah but it needs a 7 cell to do 30 mph so is this a good battery for it. I think i have heard that Tenergy is a good brand but wasn't sure.

You may get more help in a "non-specific" forum..

This is the Common Sense RC forum, you may want to post in the R/C Cars forum..

We do have some packs for 1/10th scale cars, however, they are lipo packs, if you want to make that jump..
