Pythonfan; You or I should just make a word document of this that we can copy and paste in these questions.

I have several Piccos and they really are my engine of choice. Much easier to tune and get parts for. None of them has the raw power you see in those STS videos. But, STS has been having crank problems and any small part you need is really tough to get. A lot of guys cannot get the STS 30 to run for them. I was lucky I guess, I am going to run it until it croaks.

I just tuned my STS today, and it rips so bad I cant even slow it down properly from WOT with the brakes locked.. It is still begging me for higher gearing (running 18/47) but there is no room for it on my FLM chassis. I did plenty of donuts and two wheel riding (on its side) for 3 tanks and then my brakes vibrated out.. STS is an animal if you get a good one from the factory, the others are in that ballpark. Tom.

See thats the thing. The LRP is pretty much trouble free out of the box with no worries about it being a good one or a bad one. You wont read anything bad about the LRp. Picco is definately a powerhouse but not trouble free. It takes some TLC to make the picco right. If you have teh patience then go for the Picco.
