Guys,

Did you know the 31st is the date on the 100% Cancer Benefit Fun Fly? Where we are raising as much money to help to fight cancer. Fighting cancer is very important to all of us.
Maybe you guys might select another date and you all could come up to our event and help us raise money to fight cancer.

Last year we had a few guys that came up from down south MO. Everyone had a great time and we raised over $900. This year we hope to break $1400. So help us out.

Thanks
Crash99

HI all,
I certainly applaud the LORCS for there cancer benefit and there history of this event. I Used to live up there and learned to fly in that club. FYI it is a wonderful field! I encourage any one who wants to fly with the Eldon guys to go for it! They are a great bunch of guys. I doubt thought that we will cause a drop in their attendance though. Our little event is going to be fairly laid back. Just a day to FUN FLY. I expect it will just be guys from close by that didn't want to travel.

The weather was SOUPY to say the least. we got set up flew a couple and ran from the rain. then repeated. after 3 it was fine but most had left by then. Food was Killer though. I bet I ate a dozen of Chris Taylor's home made cookies. We had awsome chili dogs.

Hi all,

We got rained out 2 weeks ago but had another one this Sat( 6/ 14) and it was great. Except for treeing my LT 40 .
Several other flyers joined us and that was very nice. We saw some killer electric planes some powered glider and some what I asume were hotliners as they would go up FAST. a couple of other crashes but nothing to bad. tha LT 40 could be rebuilt but i will have to see if I want to "do the time". John K set this one up and deserves some KUDOS it was well done.
