No second gear anymore! (Full Version)

Skinner1 -> No second gear anymore! (5/13/2008 3:48:20 AM) I was runnin my savage today and it was running great for about 2 tanks then all of a sudden it wouldnt shift into second gear so i thought i was outta tune so i tried to lean it out and it didnt work. So i finally stopped it and took the tranny apart and sure enough i spun the plastic gear that i guess is second gear. I was wondering if i can get just that gear or if i have to buy a whole new tranny, and if i can get it can you get that gear metal instead of plastic so it wont happen again?

Ya i was lookin around at the 3 spd tranny cause i was thinkin of puttin a 3 spd in mine now but the gear to fix mine is really cheap so ill think ill wait on the 3 spd. But i dont think they make that gear in metal cause the 3 spds second gear is plastic too. I think they do that so the tranny has a breaking point and your not exploding the tranny if anything happens to it.
