Status: offline 		I bought a used MGT and it has a new 8.0 tranny in it. Does the brake work both ways on this thing or is something broke inside.
If I push the lever forward or backward it appears to apply the brake. You can only imagine how the linkage is set up.

Status: offline 		the brake lever acts as a cam. there's a flat spot and as you move the lever it turns to push the piston, which squeezes the brake disks. so yes it will apply the brakes in either direction.
