No worries, I know a lot of people are waiting on these parts and it is just as frustrating for us (local distrubitors) when it takes so long to get the parts

Any dealers have the Titan upgrades yet ? I assume the Hurricane must be close to shipping now, i hope parts are comming with them.

Yes the Hurricane is in customs and awaiting release and there are parts in the shipments.

Well another week goes by, Smartech do not answer emails (or pm's). I was lucky enough to get some of what i wanted from one very kind poster above(NOT in the US).

I tried to order some hurricane bits from the US but that was a Joke. It is unfortunate that some stores pretend to offer international shipping yet make it so expensive that no one would use the service. It is an interesting marketing ploy but offensive none the less. (i was quoted $90 to ship a small envelope of parts worth $30).

So back to my original gripe. Smartech cannot, will not or do not support their product in a meaningful way. As it stands now i would suggest all paying customers (not stores or their shills) stay well away. As much potential as the titan has shown without support it is worthless

Yes, Smartech had the chance to dominate the 1/5 4x4 market with the Titan as it was the only 4x4 (at the time) that was a reasonable price but unless they can back it up with parts and upgrades people will get put off the product no matter how good it is

Well, it is too late now. Rampage is coming out and it will have huge supports from the same mod makers that makes Baja 5b mods.

If its powerslide they told me they cant/wont ship the titan out of Aussie...the Titan there is only $775US(850 AU) plus ship
http://powerslideracing.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=449

So the Titan for US residents will cost $999-1300 plus shipping depending on where you get it

quote:

Sorry guys been busy, there basically all sold locally now bar one which is in pieces. The post office here say its too big to ship. Having said that its still possible to post it if your mates with the post office owner but considering the price I'm not to keen on risking it being returned from the mail centre if they refuse it there and possibly losing postage costs.

..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

The Rampage has already come out!!! Dealers have been selling them

3 days to reply to an email is pretty slow. So as of now its 3 days and NO REPLY to my email to the address listed for Nelson.

Seems like more of the same, try to make a public impression of service and support BUT ignore the private communications.
