Status: offline 		Hey i have a 1800mah NI-CD glow plug igniter, what would be a good rate to charge it at?
I dont know whether glow plug igniters should be charged at fast rates or slow rates.

Status: offline 		Most wall adapter type chargers charge at 120-170 mA, with most DC powered types doing 1000 to 1500 mA. If you charge at a higher rate be sure you are including some kind of peak detection circuitry in your charger.

Status: offline 		im using a proper AC/DC universal charger for lipos, nimh, nicd, li-ion, Pb.......so the charger does detect the peak but I have to set the rate if i want to charge Ni-CD and i just want to know what a good charge rate would be for a glow plug igniter of my capacity because i dont know if a fast charge would be better than a slow charge for this type of device. I know that slower charge rates can give longer run times but not as much power so i dont know where the limit is, if you know what i mean.
