Hi, would anyone have a link to where i might find some detailed info on rc helicopter transmitters. Im planning on designing a new interface for flying as a college project and as part of it i will have to build a new transmitter. Thanks

Most brand name radio systems come with programming for Airplane, Heli, and Glider, all in the same Transmitter. They do make specific Transmitter versions for Heli, which have a few switch and stick changes, but it will also work with Airplane and Glider, as well.

JR, Futaba, Hitec, Multiplex, Airtronics to name a few.
