I have not seen any in person, I know thay are fast but are they easy to tune/hold a tune? Do they last several gallons? I read about 5 years ago that they were fast but had unexplained flame outs on occasion(can't remember exactly which motor it was). If you have them or had one, lets hear about them. I was thinking about trying a CL7B or the Kanai evo, anyone running them?

A guy at my track races a Sirio Evo 3 and it runs like a beast, it has a lot of low end torque and a lot of top end power it seems to lack the driveability of the O.S and most importantly the guy always seems to flame out during the main... So in terms of power it's up there but it's probably a bit harder to tune than an O.S that's for sure.

Sometime long ago, Sirio motors were TOP. I don't know what happening to them. It's rare to hear about sirio now. In the offroad world, OS engines came for good and i don't think that they will give up so easily. As for onroad, Novarossi keep his title. If sometime Sirio was number 1 in the world, now i think is number 2+#. Lets hope they will do something for that.

Honestly, I know I'm making an apples and oranges comparison, but the Sirio .09 in the Kyosho Mini Inferno is an AWESOME engine. I just sold mine, but it was very easy to tune and maintain, and made lots of smooth, reliable power. If their .21s are as good, I'll buy one in a heartbeat when my current engine bites the dust.

No man, i didn't say the opposite. Sirio is pretty good. Is just that they dissapeared for a while (championships etc). When i will change my engine on my Evolva it will definately be a Sirio. Novarossi is hard to tune plus that i don't know it very well. Of course when that day comes, i will make a thread about what engine i will put but that thread will be in onroad (out of topic, my apologize here ).

You had the Mini Inferno? Was it really good? I had one in my mind months ago but i stack on buying the Evolva.

I know you weren't bashing the Sirios . Yes, I had a Mini Inferno for just about a year. It was a great little car, the performance was just like a shrunken 1/8th buggy. My friend has a Chaos, and there was no comparison - the KMI was MUCH better in all ways.

Here there is a local skate park and i think it would be nice have one Of course can't buy the KMI or either another car because i'm on my limit. It will be very very difficult to buy another car. I think its better that way. I can at last upgrade all my cars to their limit Can't wait the different optional parts. But the part i like best of all to replace is the engine Oh man, i want to see a Speed installed on one of my buggies vary much. But on the other hand, i have my Baja that there is a whole bunch of parts that i can add. The kyoshos are already ready except that the inferno SP1 needs to upgrade into a WC version.

I'm running a Sirio .21 in my truggy, its very fast, Id put it up against an OS any day, and it came with a rear ceramic bearing,

here is a link with photos of the sirio i'm running

Its the easiest tuning motor i've run, responds very well to needle adjustments,

I purchased a Sirio Kanai EVO III for my Turmoil Pro and have about 10 tanks through it. I had a difficult time breaking it in due to all the pinch and ended up killing a Kyosho starter box!

Last night I was at the Daytona track tuning and practicing. There is a double on the back straight that I used to WOT through and would come up close. However it started opening up last night and WOT was dropping me 10-15 feet beyond :-D. Now I have to learn to drive better :P

All engines are difficult the first time. You must just find the key to success

Hey Mthird whats up man,

I seen him at the track last night, and ya he was landing 10 feet past the landing ramp, it may not sound like a alot but the runway to the jump is very short, 15 feet, and the jump is pretty big, well here is a photo of it

Little more practice man and you'll be landing that ramp perfect, that motor just has so much balls it gets away from you quick.

One thing I noticed about the Sirio motors is that they sound really nasty. I don't know how to explain it other than comparing a smooth German inline 6 to an American V8. And by nasty I mean intimidating.

The Nova and the V-Spec there last night sounded very different.

Ya they idle like a V8, blub blub blub blub, then instant RPM gain when u jam the throttle. then instant idle, blub blub blub
