I was wondering if the firestorm is any good. I like and was supposed to get it but i bought somthing cheap. I like nitro and was wondering if this would be a good choice. I have all the nitro supplies so i would just buy the truck. Do you think it would be better then going electric like the xl-5. But i like nitro and like the firestorm

If you like the Firestorm, then get it!I LOVE mine!Check out the"NitroNate's video library"post on RC car videos for some videos of my Firestorm!
The Firestorm runs along-side the Savage in bashing.Incredible power!Racing potential! The best attribute I like about the Firestorm is its bashability.I jumped this thing 15ft.!!!You can see for yourself on my video thread!
PM me if you want links.

You can have problems with any of them..........only trouble with Redcat is QC..........you will probably have more luck with many of the well known manufacturers. Firestorm, Rusty, X-cellerator, XXX losi, GT2, they are all good. Thing you need to realize is that 1/10 models break much easier than 1/8 models. Its like 1/10 you hit a good one you break. 1/8 you hit, hit, hit, flip, tumble and still maybe you break and maybe not. Hope you get what I'm trying to say. Good luck on what ever you get and above all have fun. This is a sport with toys, toy's are suppose to be fun

I was in the same boat as you were.I was looking at the rustler,firestorm,x-cell,jato,nitro sport, you name it.The majority of the people on here said Firestorm,so I got it and now I know why they recommended it to me.
I am now one of the majority telling you to get the Firestorm.

the associated GT2 is only about $30 more than the firestorm, and parts will be way easier to get since associated is a more widely distributed brand
