Any comments, opinions and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I am debating to get a new kit and engine from the beginning, or get a semi used kit from RR for less and go with that.

should I just stick to the new even if it costs a bit more ?

What kind of battery would be enough for this assuming I go with 9252's or better and a 601 with it's gyro for the tail ?

Is a nimh battery of 2700 or 4200 mha enough or should I use a 7.4 lipo with a step down ?

Any of the above, I have a 2000 NiMh in mine, good for 3-4 flights easy.

The Turbulence is going to cost at least $1000 more than the Freya (Think Eagle 3 EX . . .) so I don't see that as being a terribly viable entry level 90 heli. Beautiful and worth is, most likely, but definitely not a competitor to the Freya . . .

I have a SST Eagle Freya powered by a YS-91. I love the power and the control. It got clitched this past
weekend and repair is required. I can order most of the parts (landing skids, canopy mounts, and battery
tray) but for some reason the battery tray broke and I am unable to order it yet. I need to call the heli
parts places to see what is available. I might have to rig something up.

I will have to drag my Ergo 60 out of mothballs and put some time on it until I can get the Hirobo fixed.

Try HeliProz or HeliProz South (Rick, in a past life . . . ) Freya parts are usually easy to come by . . . .

I've look online at both so far. They do not have the battery tray by part number. I've wrote thier
phone number down and I plan to call them. I guess I need to check the feathering shaft and main
shaft to see if it is bent. Luckily, the parts in my previous post are the only parts that are physically
damaged and cost of repair is not to high.

My current state of un-employment is preventing me from ordering the parts. Hopefully this will not
last to long.
