Hope the weather is good enough to maiden this weekend. From what I read..she'll fly as good as she looks. Glad I took the plunge.
My first Aero-Works plane.

How about some details on her?
Engine, radio, batteries, empty weight?

Dave,
Sorry to say I did not weigh her yet. I'll see if I can put her togeather again and have the wife give me a hand with the electronic fish scale.
She has a DA 50 from an GP extra 300 I reitred..so its running on 100/1 amsoil and well broken in. Hitech 5955 on pull pull, 5985 on the rest except thottle..used a 5645 I had.
Futaba reciever with 2 elite nmh 1500 packs on it, 2000 on the ignition. I put a sullivan smoke system from the extra300 on it too. Using just a small 600 ncd 4.8 for that. 22/8 xore prop.
I went with Badbrad Graphics for the decals. I liked the snakes. He does good work.

Great looking plane! I got the graphics from Bad Brad also, but I guess it was before he added the snake to the fuse logo.. Good luck with the maiden!

Was hoping for Saturday..but wind may be too high for the first flight, or any for that matter....we'll see how it looks. Friday to be rainy in South Jersey. Shame about work..tomorrow looks perfect..
Oh well patience....

Too bad my boss knows of my passion...

Maiden done.....Got four flights in today...after trouble shooting a faulty regulator to the iginition. Nothing like taking it apart again at the field!!! Very nimble plane to say the least. She is a bit nose heavy..and turning her upside down showed that..a bit of down elavator inverted need to flatten her out. Question....even though nose heavy..she seems to fly with her tail a bit down...like an Extra. Is this normal..or do I have a wing incidence issue.????What should they be if body zeroed out??? Could this also be why she needs a bit of down when invertered?? There was a bit of a wind today. She seems to settel in for landings well. No bad stalling habits. I've gotten spoilded by an SU26's flight characteristics.
Glad its over..and can't wait to get used to her more.

Oh..the 3d rates on the ailerons are insane!!
