Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone know where I can find a used or cheap RC Plane Simulation? Reason I asked is that Im sorry but I don't have $200 (actually $199.95). Too many bills and gas is too high. I can't afford it. Any suggestions would help.

Thanks

FMS, Helix, CRRCsim, Helisim these are FREE.
You can try loading Smart pro and make an adaptor for you TX and plug into the MIC phone jack.

Clearview, Preflight, RCmaster ....these are around $40.
You still need sometype of TX adaptor

You also have the mid-range option of that lite version of AFPD called easyfly3. I just looked it up and saw that Hobby Lobby has it on sale until July 1st: USB interface version for $80 and Game Commander version for $100.

I've never tried it. You have the AFPD subforum here to inquire about that sim.

If you are you looking for a good deal on a used simulator you might want to check out ebay. I just picked up a copy of Real Flight G3.5 for only $50. It is in like-new condition.

Just a thought.

You may also want to check out RCGroups.com, I believe I have seen several, at the very least, RealFlight Sim pkgs. as well as others on that site for sale. Check out their marketplace area.

Hope that helps.

I have RealFlight 4.0 and I love it. I am new and learning RC flight after 20 odd years and the sim pkg. has allowed me to fly w/o concern or mental correction (lol) for when the plane is flying towards me and having to redirect your brain. It became natural after only a few sim. sessions. I believe, that is one of the true benefits of a sim. pkg. as I have seen other newbies in my club struggle with that concept, and I am 20 years their senior.

Good luck in your pursuits.

- Don
