roadtripessentials -> Swing wing Juno F-18 (5/15/2008 1:57:52 AM)

I have a Juno F-18 on the way and would like to add a swing wing mechanism. This is a 90 size prop jet. I am currently flying one with a Super Tiger 90 w/pipe. This thing is the most fun I have ever had flying in the past 25 yrs.

I searched the archives and was unable to find any mention of a swing wing project. Does anyone here have any drawings or designs that they would like to share?

Kyosho just released their Jet Vision DF 45 swing wing ducted fan. It is $200.00. I really don't want to spend that just to see how they did it. It only has a 27" wingspan and may or may not work modified for a larger and heavier aircraft. My current F-18 weighs 9.5LBS and is fast and I fly it hard. I want to be able to fly the same way swinging the wings.

Any ideas?????????????

Thanks, Tony

Why would you swing the wing on an F-18???

There are quite a few guys who have worked it out on diffrent F-14 kits.
