It was not my intent to start a blade/rex war. Just show us your stuff. If you have the feathers from a dodo bird attached to your rotors and it works for you, why not. I saw one with a squirrel tail on a cx with a hand painted canopy. Hay Bullwinkle, a real flying squirrel. I like the smother flight of the align 325 wood blades. They flex less and cost the same as stock. Much smother rotation with less drag. The tail fin was to give a little extra length and support so the tail rotor won’t bite the ground on a tail strike. The feathering shafts, well, necessity being the mother she is…everyone was out of stock shafts and the align not only fit but are stronger. As for the canopy, I just prefer the shape. And I’m not trying to imitate a rex, just found a few things I like and used them to enhance my bird. It’s still a Blade 400 And yes, next time I get someone to give me a verbal reference of the framing limits Now...show us yours.
