The cable that plugs into my TX and the USB port in the computer is defective. My planes are twitching and fluttering around.

I called Hobby-Lobby (now the only USA distributor for Ikarus) and they said I have to send in my old cable in order to get a replacement. Something about a code embedded in the little black plastic part of the cable needs to be downloaded and then uploaded into the new cable to match my system. I'm fine with that, I guess.

What I'm NOT fine with is the guy can't even tell me if they actually have the cables in stock or how long it will take to get a new one.

Has anyone else ever had to get a new cable? From Hobby Lobby? Was is a smooth deal, or did they jerk you around forever? Did you ever get the new cable, or did you send in your old one and it's now "lost forever" - leaving you with a broken flight sim?

Hi rcpilot, could you PM or email me your address, when you send out your faulty cable, and to whose attention in HL? I will check on this for you. Thanks

Thanks to Mike and AFPD support at Hobby-Lobby.

My new USB cable is on the way. No hassles. Thanks a million.
