Paul,

I'm sorry I couldn't make the premier nite!

I'll add my thanks for all your hard work and incredible skill and love for "The Cali Crew" to put in all this effort. There was only one thing missing in the video, YOU! Your face deserves to be on the big screen as well, cuz it wouldn't be the same without ya!

See Ya,

David S

Want to express my gratitude to those who have taken the time to leave their thoughts both here and in the Visitor's Logbook at the ca-jets site.
The movie was made to represent the good time that is had by the West Coast crew at this great event. But it is for all to enjoy.
And those that did enjoy it, and let the group know it, are the ones I truly spend the time doing this for.
Thanks again,
Paul

Watched...

It was good work....last years was magnitudes better. I have watched last years maybe 20 times and I have it on my Iphone to show people when they ask about jet flying...this years was was watched and thats that.

Don't misunderstand me, great work it just did not do it for me....

Cheers!

Go to the site and then hit your browser's refresh/reload button. It should bring up the 2008 addition.

I appreciate your honesty. I do feel that this years' movie may have lost some of its' broader appeal by focussing on some things that are close to home for the west coast guys.
I can definitely understand a view of "I guess you had to be there" with this movie. These movies always have, and always will be made first, for those who were there.
I'd be very interested in a more detailed critique, as it's always good to know what went over well and what didn't.
Paul

Paul - kudos on taking some negative feedback well, rather than getting all defensive (which would be very easy to do).

I appreciate the way that you do something different each year, rather than simply repeating whatever formula worked in the past. While that may run the risk of having a new movie less well received by some people than a previous year's movie, I'd personally much rather see that kind of experimentation than see your movies become more "cookie cutter" style.

BTW, I've often wondered - do you plan much of the movie beforehand, or do you wait until you have all of the raw stuff before you figure out what the format will be ?

Gordon
