help me please.......Slow stick is killing me...
Engine =eps400c stock motor (came w/ it
sevos = gws naro
battery =gp electrifly 8.4 650 mah nimh
esc =gp electrifly c-12 micro brushed w/ bec
prop =10x6
I only get about 3 minutes run time.( hate it). Thinking maybe I could put a Great Planes ElectriFly BP Series Lithium Polymer 1500mAh 7.4V 15C Battery Pack. for more air time. will this hurt my (esc) not sure c ratings,amp draw of motor( just want to fly longer ......) this pack also weighs the same as my 650 nimh.

Yes, that will work fine. You will have about the same or maybe a little more power and, of course, much longer flight times. Make sure you have a Lipo-capable charger for it. Also, if your NiMh battery is new, it will get more capacity after a few cycles.

Make sure you set your ESC for Lipo because they use a different cutout voltage and double check your center of gravity, you may have to move the battery around a bit to balance the plane out.

Yes, I see the jumper on the side of my esc to change for lipo, awsome.thank you for all the info. sorry but im still perplexed with the lipo rating at 15c is compatible to an esc of only 12c. I dont understand matching motor to esc to battery. im starting to think if i had a lipo rated at 8c that the esc would draw to much and cook the battery.thus being you should always have the same or higher rating of c in your lipo.and the c of esc should match the motor to give it sufficiant power. Am I getting closer to how this all works....

The C-12 on the ESC is a part number. It is a 12 amp ESC nothing more nothing less.
The 15C on the battery is another story. 15C means it can deliver 15Xthe Capacity of the battery continuosly. A 1500mah battery with a 15C rating would be 1500mah x15= 22500ma or 22.5 amps. That does not mean the motor will draw that much it just means that the battery, if pushed, can provide that much.
