If I have a JR sx600 with a 600 mah battery can I replace it with one that has more mah like 1500 mah like what is in my DX7. The voltage is the same. Is the mah just how long the battery will last? I was looking at something like this> http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPM9521

Yes, you got it right. Just might have to change out the connector if it's different.

That looks like the standard JR white TX connector. Its a shame they are hard to source where I am.

Just replaced my 600mah futaba with a 2500mah NiMh that I picked up on the bay for 12$ and you know
what, it's perfect! I can go fly two days in a row without charging my TX!! I don't think I'll pay 3-4 times
that amount anymore for original futaba packs... probably made with the same basic cells anyway...
Time will tell.
