I have read through a good portion of this forum as well as the Carden website and everyone seems to say the same thing, "Carden's are very accurate aircraft and are really good for flying IMAC etc. What I would like to know, would you consider a 35% Carden Extra 330S a good 3D plane and if so, why? Or would you chose the 300 mid wing. I already have an Aeroworks Extra 260 so i am not considering the Carden 260. thoughts and feedback welcome!

Status: offline 		I have a new Carden Yak 35% running a DA 100 weighing 27.6 pounds. It flys very well and is very stable doing 3D. I think Cardens are great for IMAC becouse of how stable the fly and alot of people seem to be using ARF's to beat up for 3D. Just my opinion and I'm sure others with experience with both can tell you more. BTW, I have had the 102" Somenzini Yak and it 3D's very well along with IMAC. The right pilot will make most planes fly unlike alot of us ever will doing 3D or IMAC so who knows what is really the best plane for either. I do not fly IMAC although I do run through the Basic seq. alot.

Bottom line for me personally is I would choose the Carden over anything after owning and flying one. In fact, I just bought a new Carden 330.

Status: offline 		If you keep it light and it's set up well, it will do fine. I've seen a lot of Cardens doing 3D over the years. Any of them will do well.

Status: offline 		Will a Carden 3D??? Watch a TAS video or older Kyle Woyshnis footage.. Cardens are the best of the best for IMAC and 3D!!
