Broken Wings -> Carbon Paper? (5/17/2008 2:57:16 AM)

I had no idea that there were so many different kinds. What works the best on balsa?

Thanks in advance.

Probably the stuff intended for use with pencil since it is soft. The stuff used for typing is harder.

Where can you find it? I've tried everywhere locally but it must be nearly extinct since word processing replaced typewriters. Do art supply stores sell a different type?..........John

If your talking about transferring from plans I have found that if you photocopy the plans and then iron them on with dry heat that works a lot better than tracing. If your drawing the plans yourself in CAD sometimes it helps to make the line thicker and make the copier contrast darker so more toner is transferred to the paper. Chris

I've purchased it at the local OfficeMax ... its in with all the computer/copy paper and you have to look for it, but they have it. I'm sure the other office "super stores" carry it too.
